"In every POTHOLE, there is HOPE!"

The foregoing memorable quote came from the hilarious comedy, entitled 'Mixed Nuts', which I had watched on StarHub cable televison last night.

It centred on events revolving around a small group of passionate people manning a crisis hotline on one crazy night during the Christmas holidays.

It starred the comedian Steve Martin, who played Philip, a nutty but conscientious crisis counseller.

One particular dialogue from Philip in the entertaining movie struck me:

"Just remember that in every pothole there is hope.

Well, you see, pothole is spelled P-O-T-H-O-L-E. So if you take the 'P' & add it to the 'H', the 'O', & the 'E', & rearange the letters or contraiwise, you remove the 'O', the 'T', & the 'L', you get 'HOPE'.

So just remember, in every POTHOLE there is HOPE!"
